The examination will consist of objective questions with either single or multiple correct answers, comprehension problems, matrix match and integer type questions.

Despite the JEE Advanced 2022 being one of the toughest entrance exams to complete, students will be able to succeed if they prepare persistently.

Here are a few tips to keep in mind while preparing for the exam:

1. TIME MANAGEMENT

As the exam will be spanned for 3 hours, hence aspirants must ensure that they align their practice for each subject accordingly, so they do not run short on time for any section in the examination.

For this, it is suggested that aspirants should practice subjects by a quarter rule, starting with 45 minutes per subject in the first round. By doing so, they maximize their overall score and will also increase their chances of cracking individual subject cutoffs.

Additionally, make sure you revise Organic and Inorganic Chemistry in cycles, as these portions require more revision at the end. Just to be adequately prepared for the examination, it's advisable to practice mock tests and PYQs under exam-like

To improve your performance in the exam, make sure the timing coincides with either the morning or evening shift at home with an examination center-like environment so you can analyse your learning for the exam.

3. AVOID UNPRODUCTIVE THOUGHTS

Aspirants often feel overwhelmed and stressed during exams. It is important to avoid overthinking and negative thoughts by including light activities in your day to divert yourself whenever you overthink.

4. HEALTHY LIFESTYLE

Practice and study are important, but maintaining good health is also equally important. Aspirants should make sure that they include a healthy diet plan in their lifestyle and a minimum of six to eight hours of sleep as it leads to better focus and performance.

5. CORRECT SLEEP CYCLE

While the examination is conducted in two slots, it's important for candidates to make sure they sync their sleep cycle with the exam timings with adequate sleep. The aspirants should make a habit of waking up early during the preparation phase, especially in the last month, so that they will be active and at their best during the examination.
